Project Showcase
A closer look at my projects. Each represents a unique challenge solved with modern technologies. Explore the details and see how each solution came to life.
Featured Projects
MiniURL
September 2026A URL shortener with a React + Vite frontend and a Bun + Hono backend. Ported from the original Go (net/http) backend to TypeScript with the same API contract — fixed cached 301 redirects, missing server timestamps, math/rand codes, and wrong status codes. Ships crypto-random codes, strict validation, in-memory storage behind a swappable interface, 26 bun tests, and a Vercel serverless deploy.
commandcode-proxy
September 2026 - PresentA zero-dependency Bun + TypeScript proxy that lets OpenCode talk to CommandCode Go via a local OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Translates OpenAI Chat Completions into CommandCode's NDJSON wire protocol and back — streaming text, reasoning, tool calls, and usage in both directions. Ships a one-command installer that registers a systemd/launchd/Windows service, resolves API keys from env/Bearer/auth.json, and supports thinking variants per model.
kaal
August 2026 - PresentA self-hosted coding-agent harness: interactive TUI plus a scriptable kaal run CLI that drives gateway-backed agent sessions against any OpenAI-compatible model. Features a stdlib-only core, a DSML-healing gateway that repairs malformed tool calls mid-stream, resumable JSONL sessions, durable memory, path-confined guarded tools with verify hooks, batch mode for parallel prompts, and checksummed one-line installs for Linux/macOS/Windows.
omarchy-hotspot
August 2026 - September 2026A mobile hotspot for Omarchy/Hyprland that never drops your Wi-Fi: concurrent STA+AP via hostapd on a virtual interface, sharing any uplink through iptables NAT while your connection stays up. Ships a Quickshell bar plugin with an interactive panel — scannable QR-code join, live status, inline-editable SSID and WPA2 password, failure surfacing on startup errors, and passwordless toggling via a scoped polkit rule. Hardened against a security review: passphrase validation, stdin-only secret handling, polkit rule scoping, and QML plaintext rendering.
OCaml Orderbook
May 2026 - August 2026A price-aggregated limit order book implemented in pure, immutable OCaml — orders grouped into price levels via Int.Map with FIFO-like priority across levels. Supports limit/market execution, cancels, best bid/ask, spread, and depth queries, alongside micro-benchmarks contrasting OCaml vs Python performance.
Technical Approach
Every project follows a systematic approach: understanding requirements, designing the solution, implementing with best practices, and refining based on feedback.
